The difference is substantial. The swelling from fat transfer is usually only in the face and subsides much faster than in a facelift. I would say there is about a 2 week difference.

If the sutures were absorbable, then the area will heal fine with local wound care. If it is a permanent suture, then it may or may not heal with wound care. If it doesn't, the area may have to be re-explored.

I would recommend waiting  6-8 weeks before having any fillers done to the face after a facelift, so that most of the initial swelling has subsided. The injector can then better judge how much to place.

This is common after having a hematoma. Talk with your surgeon. He may suggest massages to the area to help the swelling subside faster.

No. A well performed facelift will not cause the wrinkles you are seeing when you elevate the skin with your hands. This happens with your hands because you are pulling the skin. The facelift elevates the deeper layers and does not pull on the skin. This is a very common question!

Fillers will not affect the result of the surgery...unless you have a great amount of fillers in the cheeks. This can make it a bit more difficult in achieving elevation because of the weight of the tissues.
