What can be done to an overprojected bridge and tip?
Revision Rhinoplasty
Jan 15, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry. Revision Rhinoplasty with removing the implant would be required and placement of a graft would be appropriate. I recommend you return to your surgeon to discuss options or consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in revision rhinoplasty.
Hope this helps and good luck!
Should my neck still look like this 2 years after a lower facelift?
Neck concerns after Facelift
Jan 15, 2019
Thanks for your question. I would expect your neck to appear smoother at this point in your post-surgical timeline. You should be able to have some improvement with a revision to that area.
I recommend you visit with your original surgeon and if this doesn’t address your concerns, I would recommend you consult with another board certified facial plastic surgeon who is experienced or specializes in revision facelift/necklift.
Hope this helps and good…
How can I fix my side profile?
Rhinoplasty
Dec 20, 2018
Thanks for your question. My recommendation would be to work on the bridge of your nose to thin the sides. What you’re seeing in your side profile is possibly just the thickness of the nose. Once the nose is thinner, the focus is more on the eyes. Find a board certified facial plastic surgeon experienced in rhinoplasty and schedule a consultation. Most surgeons have some sort of an imaging program where they can show you a general idea of what it will look like. …

Revision Rhinoplasty
Dec 20, 2018
Thanks for your inquiry! You are a good candidate for a revision rhinoplasty. Using an open approach to thin the bridge and sides of your nose may be all you need to do. This will help your tip to look more pleasing. Finding a board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon with experience in revision rhinoplasty will give you your best result. Good luck!
Do I need a brow lift only or blepharoplasty as well?
Browlift and Blepharoplasty
Dec 10, 2018
Doing a browlift only may give you the result you are looking for. Adding the blepharoplasty may make the result better, but you need to do what you are comfortable with. Good luck on your surgery!
Should I worry about a little bruising that came up on my lip after Juvederm?
Bruising is normal
Dec 10, 2018
Bruising is normal, nothing to worry about. It should disappear within 2 weeks. Enjoy your results!
Is it possible to get an eyebrow lift without increasing forehead size?
Is it possible to get an eyebrow lift without increasing forehead size?
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. While it is possible to have a brow lift and reduce the size of your forehead, I advise against it. You’re only 19, and your face is going to continue to change as you age. There’s no reason for invasive cosmetic surgery when you’re as young as you are. If you want to lift your brows a bit, you might want to try Botox. A board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in facial procedures can strategically place Botox injections to subtly lift your brows witho…
One eye is larger than the other and I have different eyebrows
One eye is larger than the other and I have different eyebrows
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. From your picture, it doesn’t seem as if the asymmetry in your eyes is pronounced – and keep in mind that everyone has some degree of asymmetry, so this is completely normal. Without an in-person examination, it is impossible to advise you about what treatment may address your concerns. My advice would be to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. They can examine you and offer recommendations for appropriate treatment. Good luck!
Follow-up question: What is the least invasive way to lift brow and help with deep forehead wri
What is the least invasive way to lift brow
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. From your pictures, it appears that you could see a good result from Botox injections. That will not only address your forehead wrinkles, but can help raise your brow a bit as well. If you try Botox and feel like you need a more dramatic result, your next step may be a brow lift. Whatever you decide, make sure that you see a board certified plastic surgeon. Botox for wrinkles is a pretty straightforward treatment, but an experienced plastic surgeon knows the…
Can I have a brow/forehead lift at 22?
Can I have a brow/forehead lift at 22?
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. A brow lift isn’t typically a procedure that is done at your age, because there is no excess skin to lift. Additionally, if you were to get a brow lift, the result will give you a permanently surprised look, which isn’t the look most people are going for. If your primary issue is migraine pain, Botox can provide some relief, while also lifting your brows just a bit. I suggest you explore that option first, as it can provide both pain relief and aesthetic res…
How can I get a high forehead and make it protruding?
How can I get a high forehead and make it protruding?
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. As far as looking more feminine, a lower hairline is actually associated with feminine features. From your pictures, it appears that you have a nice browline and a forehead that is curved enough and that fits with the symmetry of your face. In my opinion, nothing needs to be done – and if you were to choose implants or other surgery, you wouldn’t see much of a change. If you do decide that you want to explore treatment, make sure that you schedule a c…
Facelift, eyebrow lift, liposuction, V line contouring? Please no “laser” suggestions
Facelift, eyebrow lift, liposuction, V line contouring?
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. From your photos, it is pretty obvious that you do not need a facelift. You do not have sagging skin, which is what a facelift corrects. What you do have is the skin and face of a 24 year old – natural volume and smoothness that women pay thousands of dollars for. If anything, you may consider trying fillers in your chin to give it a bit more definition and provide more facial symmetry. Other than that, I would recommend that you enjoy your face as it is – there…
Based on my pictures what do you suggest I do for an overall natural look?
Based on my pictures what do you suggest I do for an overall natural look?
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. Due to the degree of aging in your face and neck, the best option for you is a facelift. Asymmetry and a thin face aren’t factors that preclude you from successful results – everyone has asymmetry. While fillers and other nonsurgical treatments can help with loss of volume and wrinkles, in some cases, the best option is a facelift. I recommend that you schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facelifts. They can examine y…
Should I have my face lift during my weight lost or after?
Should I have my face lift during my weight lost or after?
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. Losing weight after a facelift can have a significant effect on your results. A few pounds won’t make a difference, but I would advise you to wait until you are at least 10 pounds or so from your goal weight before considering surgery. Significant weight loss after a facelift can cause loss of volume, which will then cause the skin to sag – reversing what you just had fixed. When you do decide to get a facelift, make sure you select a board certified plastic s…
When is it really safe to start weight training again after a face and neck lift?
When is it really safe to start weight training again after a face and neck lift?
Nov 16, 2018
Thank you for your question. While it is imperative that you follow your surgeon’s post-operative instructions after any surgery, you should also value your own “gut feeling” if you feel like you are not ready. For most people, four weeks is ample time to heal, and they can get back to their exercise regimen at that time. However, you know your body, and if you are concerned about straining or headaches, waiting a bit longer is just fine. Also, since you have not exercised for a month, start…
