Most mini-TT generally leave the belly button attached, after elevating the abdominal skin between the belly button and pubis and cutting off the excess.  The area which you dislike (below the bra and above the belly button) wont be adequately addressed.  Even though the length of scar required for a full TT may be intimidating, the long term results can't be beat.  Find an experienced PS and demonstrate your desired bathing suit/underwear lines, so the surgical scars can be planned accordingly.

Most Plastic Surgeons will offer the implants they feel are best suited to their patient's aesthetic objectives & needs because at the end of the day, we work for the patients and not industry.  Regarding the recent FDA summit in Maryland, the consensus is that all parties involved - patients, surgeons, & industry must cooperate to track long term outcomes.
