Clinically, he practices a breadth of Facial Plastic Surgery with an emphasis on rhinoplasty — especially challenging secondary surgeries. Dr. Hamilton is frequently invited to teach outside of Mayo Clinic and has given over 300 national and international lectures. He has won multiple teaching awards at the departmental and institutional level including the Mayo Fellows’ Association Otolaryngology — Audiology Teacher of the Year Award.

He is Board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is currently Associate Professor and Consultant at Mayo Clinic, and Chair of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
