I would recommend that you continue to massage the area 3-4 times a day as well as using the tape. It is not unusual for this to happen temporarily after a lower eyelid surgery If no improvement in 4 weeks would recommend seeing your surgeon to reevaluate.
Accidentally strained 11 days post facelift, advice?

The biggest worry following a face-lift is the possibility of having a hematoma (bleeding under the skin) The signs and symptoms of a hematoma are pain and swelling at the site. It would be very unusual to develop a hematoma 11 days after the surgery.
