I usually advise my patients to apply minoxidil for six months after the hair transplantation. This increases the blood supply for the new grafts. Sometimes I urge some patients to keep applying it for many many years when I see scalp with decreased blood supply. In addition there are no side effects from the usage.

Sometimes minoxidil causes dandruff. Do you use minoxidil? If the dandruff is normal keep wash your hair every day with the baby shampoo. If the dandruff is too much use the Head and shoulder s shampoo twice a week for one month plus the baby shampoo the rest of the days. You can use also conditioners and oils without problem.
Can I wear a swimming cap to bed 6 months post op FUE to prevent scratching?

There is no problem if you wear a swimming cup 6 months post op every night. I think you have a kind of anxiety. Try to relax !
