Great Question! Based on my experience as a Facial Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon, I strongly advise you wait a total of 6 months. As surgery is a form of trauma, you will continue to experience post-surgical inflammation and post-surgical changes. Waiting 6 months will allow some time for the post-surgical inflammation to settle.
