While studying biomedical engineering at the University of Illinois, he participated in projects that included the development of prosthetic limbs and artificial organs. He then earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, followed by his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas. He was also fellowship-trained at Advanced Cosmetic Surgery in Beverly Hills, California.

Over his 16-year career, Dr. Motykie has developed the precise surgical skills and vast medical knowledge needed to be a top plastic surgeon. Staying on top of the latest innovations and most effective surgical techniques continues to be a priority.

Dr. Motykie has been honored with many titles and awards, including one of LA’s Top Doctors in Plastic Surgery by Los Angeles Magazine, Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Most Compassionate Doctor by Vitals, and the Physician’s Recognition Award from the American Medical Association.
