Thank you for your question. Rhinoplasty recovery is variable. In most patients, a large amount of swelling will resolve after 7-10 days. At the 10-14 day mark, patients usually feel OK to return to work. Bruising can sometimes occur, but is rare in my practice. The nose may have persistent minor swelling that resolves over 4-6 weeks. It is rare to have significant swelling longer than this, although tip definition takes 6 months to a year to fully appear. These rules...

Thank you for your question. You need to reach your goal weight before making a definitive plan. Based on your BMI you probably have 20 pounds to lose (although your pictures don't show it), and that much weight loss could dramatically change the plan.
Good luck!

Thank you for your question. Based on your photos a traditional tummy tuck is likely the best choice for you. An in person exam needs to be performed, however, to determine the definitive plan and assess if you are a good candidate for surgery. Make sure your plastic surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and ask to see before and afters.
Good luck,

Thank you for your question. With most body contouring cases it is OK to return to a desk job after 2-3 weeks. It is usually 4-6 weeks before you are able to perform strenuous exercise. Keep in mind, these are averages, and some patients take less or more time to fully heal. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more.

It is completely normal to feel nervous before any type of surgery. In these situations, the physician patient relationship is extremely important. Your surgeon should be able to answer all of your questions and make you feel at ease. If you have doubts, seek a second opinion. Make sure your surgeon is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Ask to see before and afters.

Thank you for your question. Tummy tuck surgery is an excellent and time proven way to remove an abdominal "apron". Whether it not you are a candidate requires an in person exam. Sometimes, it is better to perform liposuction first and then wait 3-4 months to perform the tummy tuck. For certain patients, this staged approach is both safe and yields a better result Make sure your plastic surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Ask to see before...

It is easy to remove a belly button, but I think most people would agree any belly button looks better than no belly button. Belly buttons after tummy tucks can look very natural, you just have to find the right surgeon. Make sure your surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and ask to see before and after photos.

Thank you for your question. Generally, I like my patients' BMI to be less than 30. BMI is only one indicator of fitness however, and can vary based on bone density and muscle mass. Some patients, no matter, how hard they try, stay above 30. Each surgical candidate needs to be evaluated on a case by case basis, and steps can be taken to ensure that safe surgery is performed. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more.

Nodules in the tear trough can happen for a variety of reasons. Sometimes, an inexperienced injector will inject too much filler or select the wrong filler for that location. If hyaluronic acid was used, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. If the filler was silicone or something permanent, surgery will be necessary.
Good luck,

To find the best solution for you, an in person exam needs to be performed. Any tethering scar needs to be released (usually subcision) and then filled. There are many filler choices with different properties for that area of the face. Consult with a knowledgeable and experienced injector, such as a board certified plastic surgeon.
