Belafill is a good option to volumize the nasolabial folds and it can be used to smoothen acne scars. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is a procedure that can produce immediate results but the effects can lessen over 2 weeks once the fillers settle in and the skin edema decreases. It is a procedure the should be performed by experienced individuals that understand nasal anatomy. Look for a surgeon that can review both surgical and non-surgical options with you.

It takes time after the moh’s surgery for the area to heal. I often counsel patients that it can take up to 1 year for the healing to take place. In our office we use microneedling and laser resurfacing to smoothen the skin and address any irregularities. Good luck with your healing process.

Ultherapy works slowly over time to tighten the skin by promoting new collagen formation. The device works by using ultrasound energy to produce thermal coagulation points in a layer of tissue under your skin. Over time the tissue tightens and produces a smoother appearance. Ultherapy works better in certain areas than others. I think it is best in the forehead and the chin/submental region.

It takes time to heal after a rhinoplasty – especially the nasal tip. I counsel my patients that 80% of the healing takes place in the first month but the remaining 20% of healing occurs over the next year. The nasal tip is the last part of the nose to fully heal. If the nasal tip requires a lot of work with cartilage graft and changes it is common for it to stay swollen for many months. Always check back with your surgeon to make sure your healing is progressing well.
