In general when there is still jowls and a tear trough deformity after a facelift it usually means the mid face wasn’t adequately addressed. once all the swelling is down the tear trough deformity could be enhanced with midface injections. However the jowls would need to be suspended with a endoscopic midfacelift

Since it is I lateral usually caused by allergic reaction to something. This could be caused by deep sutures in the area that were used or the cream you’re putting on it. First thing you do is stop all topical cream‘s and see if it improves.

The problem is the desire is to tighten skin when in fact most of the damage is done to the fatty tissue. What is that is destroyed it will not come back it will be sunk in areas.
