Most of the time swelling after a rhinoplasty refers to swelling over the tip, supra tip (area right above the tip) and over the middle vault of the nose.
In thin skinned individuals, the swelling overlying the bony dorsum dissipates pretty rapidly.

I am assuming pic 1 is before, and pic2 is the after. The amount of swelling directly over Bony bridge (dorsal aspect of the nasal bones) seems pretty minimal. Via pics I cannot ascertain the amount of swelling vs the scar vs, the outward...

Had rhinoplasty six months ago and it's uneven - will the swelling go down?

1. What were the issues during your rhinoplasty?

PLEASE REMEMBER the following is based only on pics. THERE IS NO PHYSICAL EXAM, and no analysis of prior operation, and what was done.

Overall, the appears to be:
1. a slight amount of scar tissue over the dorsum at the level of the cartilagenous midvault.
2. Asymmetry of the lower lateral cartilages and tip.

At a year post-op after the primary surgery, most of swelling related issues should have resolved.

a. you have thin skin
b. you have an excellent position of your hyoid so that you have pretty good neck definition as it is
c. You have a slight amount of "loose" skin of the neck, and platysmal dehiscence.
