Any request to change the planned procedure should not be done the day of surgery if possible, especially for elective surgery. Proper protocol requires these changes are requested in the low stress setting in the doctor’s office. There true informed consent can be given. It is not fair to the patient or physician to make changes right before surgery.

Laser treatment such as Femilift or MonaLisa are geared toward restoring the healthy vaginal tissue for patients with vagina dryness, painful sex, urinary frequency and in some cases of mild incontinence. Vaginalplasty and perineal place involve excision of skin with a scalpel, although a laser can be used as a ‘scalpel’ there is no advantage of one tool over the other during these procedures.

The appearance seems to be of a small amount of blood from the procedure under the skin, which is to be expected. This discoloration will resolve, typically within 4-6 weeks.

Based on your description, it sounds like you may be forming a keloid. A keloid is basically an over-formed scar reaction, where the scar is raised. Some individuals are prone to them. I would see your surgeon to evaluate.

First define your main symptom, and then pursue the right procedure. If a sensation of looseness is your main complaint , then surgical cosmetic procedures are the most effective for that. At 21, you are not the typical patient for femilift. I would get a second opinion to make sure you are a candidate. You may have some improvement after the first treatment, but a full treatment is 3 sessions.
