Hello,
It is definitely possible to increase density in one spot, the concern is that you will continue to lose hair in other spots and in the future it will appear uneven again.
I would suggest a 2000 graft fue to fill in the entire frontal are as well as starting on a DHT inhibitor (finasteride) that would solve your problem and prevent future hair loss,

A crown area typically takes a lot of grafts to create coverage, usually 40 to 50 grafts per square cm.
Measure the area and multiply by 45. My guess is that you will need in the range of 2500- 3000 grafts.

It is normal to shed 50 to 100 hairs daily even if you don’t have Male Pattern Baldness. After 5 months on finasteride, your hair loss should stabilize and no further hair loss should occur. I would suggest you continue the finasteride, benefits will continue for years to come.

I recommend that patients take finasteride around the time of their transplant even if they don’t want to take it long term. This will help prevent the shock loss of their existing hair. If you have no side effects to this medication, you should continue long term. It will help to thicken your hair and make your transplant look better,Dr. Robert Jones
