Congratulations on your first 20# loss. To optimize your results, I would recommend waiting for another 15-20# loss before proceding. The rest of the wt shouldn’t be a factor.

 You’ll need to wait 6-8 mos to see what a normal healing time will produce. In the meantime, have patience and work with your surgeon. All the things that you are doing are good and should be beneficial in the ultimate healing process.

At this point in time, you’ll need to wait at least 6-8 mos to let the tissues heal from this procedure. Then you can be re-evaluated and I would suggest 2-3 separate opinions. You’ll probably need elevation of the neck skin and possible liposuction in that area in conjunction with a revision lower face lift with an incision in front of and behind the ear to obtain a good neck tightening.
I am nine weeks post face/neck lift and serious neck remains.

You certainly do have some neck fullness. It would be better if you could provide your pre-op pictures as well in order to compare. I would also check with your surgeon to see whether he did a sub-mental liposuction at the time of surgery. If he did, then I would seek out a second opinion.

No face lift will address the area around the mouth, i.e. the lips and the chin, per se. Pre-op photos would be helpful to determine how much of those creases were present beforehand. At this point, fillers would be your best option knowing that they won’t last as long due to the creasing that occurs with smiling.
