To better evaluate your anatomy, we need to see your face and neck in different angles (i.e. frontal view, right profile, left profile, etc.). To proceed with surgical treatment, being at your ideal weight and not having too much weight fluctuation is important. We recommend that meeting with a plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to discuss the different surgical options.

You look great in your pictures! The residual fullness is very minimal. However, if you wish to smooth out the submental area, as seen in your first picture, your doctor's recommendation is not unreasonable. Another option you can discuss with your surgeon is to try Kybella injection.
