If you are predisposed to hypertrophic scarring, I would be very cautious in undergoing a procedure such as hairline lowering that will involve an even lengthier scar that may be even more apparent than the scar that you currently have. The brow lift and facelift may have caused shock loss in the hairs that were transplanted from the front 2cm of the scalp especially if a trichophytic incision was used. Less likely in the crown area. In my experience, shock loss as not been permanent. An option would be to use minoxidil or perhaps there could be some separate etiology completely unrelated that may have caused this.

I have to agree that I think you will need at least around 1000 grafts in the area to help with the deep temporal recessions. You need a density of 25 hairs per square centimeter in the front line 2cms and 40 hairs per square centimeter behind that.
