This is very normal post Fraxel and not a reason to be concerned. Treatment redness is expected to fade to a light pink and then resolve within a few weeks. It is important to keep the skin hydrated with aquaphor or post healing balm provided by your physician. Keeping the skin hydrated will promote faster healing.

The Glabellar muscle is treated to relax the lines known as 11 lines. Although Botox/Dysport does not kick in immediately, you will see improvement within 7-10 days. Most patients see improvement for 3-4 months.

It can take 7-10 days for Dysport to fully kick in. You might start to see improvement in as little as 3 days. Dysport usually lasts 3-4 months depending on each patient, if you don't see improvement from your touch up treatment you may need to let your Dysport completely wear off.

Different Physicians prefer different approaches. We utilize a very fine external suture with an extremely small needle i.e. 7'0. The real key is the size of the needle and the fact that using sutures gives you more control over the tissue reaction than using sutures that are not removed and must absorb over a period of day.Sincerely,S. I would not advise use of any permanent material in the lips. In fact, we only use hyaluronic acid fillers in the lips because they can be reversed and have been proven to be safe over many years of use.

Yes, Botox can be used to treat the depressor Anguli Oris muscle to help eliminate some of the downward pull at the corners of the mouth resulting in marionette's lines. Additionally, the Mentalis muscle is often treated to provide additional curvature to the chin and to illuminate some of the dimpling of the chin.

Should I make my nose smaller to match a smaller chin, as a male?

Yes, a smaller chin does look better with a smaller nose as does a stronger nose look better with a stronger chin. These are basic tenets that rhinoplasty surgeons use along with many other factors in determining what might look best on any given patient. Also, typically males have stronger features including both nose and chin.
