Fat transfer can be used for marionette lines although I prefer a thinner substance such a a hyaluronic acid based filler. Only downside to filler is you have to upkeep it. Thank you for sharing photos.The reality to your question is ultimately you are the perfect candidate for a tummy tuck and what you call a “mother’s apron” will only go away with a tummy tuck. Smart Lipo may help to reduce and tighten the area, but will not give you a flattened abdomen if that’s what you’re looking for. I definitely do not recommend wearing makeup that soon after chin liposuction. Typically sutures will stay in for about 7 days and at that point, you would be able to conceal them, but should really try and stay away from any harsh chemicals or makeup for at least 2 weeks in that area. I recommend cancelling the IPL treatment prior to your surgery. You can reschedule for sometime 6 to 8 weeks after your facelift. Although an IPL is noninvasive and superficial, it may cause swelling which could interfere with your surgical results. Best of luck!

Thank you for sharing photos.Prolene sutures are not commonly used for a facelift, but can be and they are not absorbable. They would need to be removed. I have had VERY FEW patients have any reactions to sutures, but reactions do exist. I recommend you schedule a follow up with your plastic surgeon to see what your options are as far as the neck laxity goes, and also to inquire on the issues with the spitting sutures.Best of luck!

Thank you for your question.You will find different doctors have different personal requirements as far as how long or what type of chin strap you should use post surgery. I personally have my patients wear a chin strap for the first 30 days to sleep at night. The first 7 to 10 days all day (or for as long as possible) once their compression bandage is removed at 72 hours. There is a lot of manipulation involved with nose surgery depending on what the surgeon was trying to accomplish. Swelling and appearance changes over the course of time. Thank you for your question and thank you for sharing photos. You could probably benefit from something called a Fractional CO2 laser. It is a an aggressive “peel.” You may need more than one treatment in the area to really attain great results, but this will help with those fine lines and wrinkles and help to produce collagen under the skin to plump in up in the area.
