Hi Kelsi, I typically advise my patients who have never had filler in their lips to start off with a small to moderate amount and add more if they would like additional volume. I recommend starting with a syringe of Juvederm. See how you like the results. If you think you could use more, then you can always do that.

Hi Sexcie, you are a great candidate for a facelift. I would also recommend volume replacement such as a fat transfer to the cheeks, and a lower eyelid blepharoplasty to remove the bulging fat in the lower eyelids. This will result in a very natural, refreshed, more youthful appearance. Follow up with an experienced facial plastic surgeon who can give you options.

Hi Sherpy, it is very possible to perform a jowl lift under local anesthesia using oral sedation. Essentially, a jowl lift is a lower facelift. I like to use tumescent anesthetic, which is very effective at making you numb. I then use an oral sedative such as Ativan. I have found this combination to be very effective. Surgery under local is not for everybody and I would follow up with an experienced facial plastic surgeon who is experienced with this technique.

Since you have just had surgery, I would wait four to six weeks before having any procedures done in order to allow the swelling to resolve.
