My goal is to have patients able to sit across a dinner table in ten days and individuals who know you will only see the improvement in your look. Everyone is different, and it also depends on the type of procedure you have done. I provide a SMAS face lift under local anesthesia and individuals depending on bruising and swelling can be back at a sedentary type of work in 4 to 5 days.

It is a bit difficult to judge based on the picture you provided. The brows do appear to have a nice shape and curvature, so I do not think a brow lift would be necessary. I believe based upon your question that a blepharoplasty is definitely a good choice of procedures for you.

I am sorry that you have been faced with this situation. I am not aware of any surgeons that specialize in these procedures. I would definitely get a few opinions before having any work done. A good resource for you to use may be the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, to find someone in your area that routinely does this procedure.

Good question. Many individuals will expect that vertical lines will disappear once a neck lift is done. Unfortunately, that may not be the case, and would be dependent on the exact procedure that your physician performed. Thank you for your question. In reviewing your after photos provided, it would seem that the area is a bit loose for four months. Not being able to see your before pictures makes it difficult to provide any type of assistance. I would recommend that you get a second opinion from a different board certified surgeon, then go back to the physician you received the lift from and express your disappointment.

Individuals age at a different rate, based upon a multitude of conditions, from genes to lifestyle, etc. So we have performed many lifts, for individuals in there forties, when appropriate. Some choose to do a non-invasive procedure called Ultherapy, depending on laxity, as a first choice. This procedure is FDA approved for lifting of the face and neck.
