Hello there,
I recommend my patients use a peri-bottle post-operatively. I suggest they fill it with warm water and squirt the water over the incision lines while urinating. This acts both to cleanse the area and also to help dilute the urine so it does not sting the incision lines. I then suggest patting the area dry gently with a clean, dry face cloth. No toilet paper for at least a week.

Hello there,
I personally use a buried, running, faster-dissolving suture for the top layer to give the leading edge a smoother appearance. I typically do not place sutures above the skin, as I feel that patients frequently swell around these, putting patients more at risk of a bumpy or 'scalloped' edge.

Thank you for your question.A labiaplasty +/- clitoral hood reduction can minimize the size of the labia and clitoral hood, if that is what bothers you. Hello there,
Thank you for your question.While your anatomy seems well within normal limits, some women choose to change the shape of their labia/clitoral hood. I think you would be a great candidate for a labiaplasty - I do think that you should also consider a clitoral hood reduction at the same time in order to avoid a 'top heavy' appearance.
