Thank you for your question.
Steroids are definitely not advisable following Rhinoplasty. However if there is a asymmetry which is mild I would advise injecting Voluma filler. This will last up to 12-18 months. It can then easily be repeated.

Smiling which causes a droop to the nasal tip is caused by a muscle that is attached to the end of the septum and can be divided during Rhinoplasty. I have performed this procedure many times before. Also undertaking Rhinoplasty surgery involves supporting the tip so the droop can be treated along with other techniques to eliminate a droopy tip. You are correct- cutting the maxillary labial fraenum will not help.
My advice would be to seek another consultation…

This is a very common question that my patients ask me following Rhinoplasty. It is very early days for you following surgery and the tip is the one area of the nose that is swollen following Rhinoplasty. Was this an open tip Rhinoplasty? If so then the swelling is even more evident. The swelling and hardness will subside but it can take up to a year for a nasal tip swelling to subside.

You are definitely a good candidate for otoplasty. You are indeed missing a fold to your ear- the anti helical fold. There are many techniques for correcting this and producing an anti helical fold. This would produce a more natural appearance to your ear.

Looking at your photo this looks like it is a benign lesion. Even a papilloma (wart). I would advise a shave biopsy to ascertain what it actually is (it should be sent of for histological analysis). A shave biopsy will leave a scab which will change into a red patch that eventually disappears. I hope this is useful.

I would advise a combined lower facelift and neck lift. What you effectively need is resuspension of the Platysma muscle in the neck and the SMAS layer which is continuous with the Platysma muscle. This procedure will rejuvenate your face and neck nicely and a downtime of typically 14 days is required.

The leakage in the hours after is entirely normal and is a combination of serous fluid caused by trauma and local anaesthetic injected into the area. If the area continues to leak several days after I would advise you to seek medical advice.
