I really feel that removing the buccal fat accentuates and highlights your cheek bone structure and will reduce the overall facial roundness;
a very simple procedure under a mild IV sedation for comfort (although some have had it under local anesthesia!).

Hello, Yes you would be an excellent candidate for a chin implant; min incision, no downtime as compared to a genioplasty, mild soft tissue swelling for 3-5 days; and no temporary numbness of the lip and chin (almost always with genioplasty).
you will have an improved neck -chin contour and overall amazing lower neckline. Good luck!

I’ve already had braces for about a year but when looking at photos my jaw looks crooked, however in a mirror my jaw looks fine.

Thank you for your question. However difficult to truly assess the magnitude of the facial asymmetry, we typically utilize a 3D scan of the facial bones (CBCT) to gather more information about the asymmetry. Sometimes camouflage surgery on the opposite side may provide benefit using facial implants ($4000-6000), however definitive jaw realignment surgery may prove to give the best long term solution ($16000-25000). Great question! We have a lot patients that we see specifically for a deep crease / fold (termed labiodental sulcus). A lot of patients often present with a deeper bite leading to the cause of such a crease.

Thanks for the question! Tough to say with the limited photos and the proper lighting needed to really evaluate the best option for you.
At least, I believe that a skin care regimen would give you better tone and texture with tightening , and the use of semi permanent fillers to help with facial volume depletion would offer some instantaneous results. Right now, I dont feel a facelift will improve your appearance as you have good skin tone.

Great question: yes having a fuller face is always a hallmark of youth, and in fact we are refilling facial contours with ones own fat to rejuvenate the face.

The answer is yes, however to truly evaluate the amount of bone erosion, an X-ray either CT scan or CBCT should be performed to see the amount of bony changes that occurred with the chin implant.
If the contour is not much affected, then yes a genioplasty could be performed without causing harm to the existing chin region.
