Skin tightening after weight loss

Congratulations on your weight loss! It is best and usually recommended to reach your target weight and remain at that weight for several months before considering any skin tightening procedures. Am I beyond the help that fillers can give?
Lip filler vs lip flip vs lip lift
Nov 15, 2023
This is a great question. The length of the upper lip can be shortened by a surgical procedure as a lip lift. The incision is underneath your nostril and is very well hidden and hard to tell. A lip flip, is when botox is injected at the boarder of the upper lip to weaken the muscles around the lip. The effect of this helps with everting the upper lip, making it look fuller and youthful. Lip filler adds volume to the lip (both upper and/or lower depending on what you want). Filler can also be…

Dermal filler for asymmetry?
Dermal filler for chin asymmetry
Oct 17, 2023
This is a great question. Dermal fillers (like hyaluronic acid/HA fillers) can be used to even out asymmetries. This is a temporary solution but can last month or up to over a year. A longer term solution can include surgery, like a fat transfer that can balance asymmetries similar to a dermal filler. Although you will experience swelling and maybe some bruising, down time is minimal, and can be as little as less than a week. Hope this helps!
