It is a common side effect of threadlifts as the superficial skin is hooked onto the thread.
A simple massage by your doctor will release the skin off the hooks of the thread .

It certainly looks like bad bruising and will take 2-3’weeks to resolve completely. Applying warm compress 3 times a day and arnica cream on the bruise will speed it up slightly.
Is this pucker/ deep dent below cheek normal 1 week after pdo threadlift?
Tight attachment of thread end to dermis

Dear Strawberriexsweetie
The end of the thread is attached to your skin tightly at the indentation , a properly placed massage by your doctor will easily loosen that attachment and resolve the issue IMMEDIATELY.

Alternatively, it will also resolve by itself within 3-4 weeks. Rigottomy can also be performed if issue persists despite an appropriate massage by an experienced threadlift physician.

I had the procedure done on May 25th, 2018. Photos taken on June 3rd, 2018.

It seems like the end of the threads are placed very superficially , and may need to be removed. Pls look for your physician for a review around 10-14 days .
Unhappy with Ellanse results – can anything be done?
Superficial injection or Overdilution

Ellanse is for deeper injections (if injected superficially , needs to be in very thin threads and amounts).
From the photo , it seems like your doctor had injected ellanse into the infraorbital fat pad (a superficial fat pad) . That is why the swelling is prolonged .
Either that or the doctor had overdiluted the Ellanse ( overdilution of ellanse causes excessive swelling ).

In Singapore , I have been a big user of Radiesse and Ellanse (still is ) and also some Sculptra.
Sculptra needs 3 – 4 sessions of treatment spaced out once a month. This treatment regime can last up to 2 years. The solution is a suspension (non homogenous and needs to be constantly swirled right up to the moment before injection). That results in a high chance of uneven distribution , and unevenness , lumpiness. The results are only seen 1 month after injection and is very subtle…
