Great question! I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure. My name is Dr. Amy Bandy. I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and Breast Augmentation Specialist. Because anticoagulants, NSAIDs, and certain herbs and supplements can increase your risk of bleeding with surgery, you will need to stop taking them before your procedure. You may start taking blood thinners again such as Naproxen 2-4 weeks after your surgical procedure. Hope this helps!

If you have existing stretch marks on your breasts, the size of the implants you choose and how much skin laxity you already have will determine whether these stretch marks are "re-stretched"- if so, they may become pink or red again for a while, thus making them more noticeable for a period of time.
