Question
Answer Header & Date
Answer Snippet
Preserving the front side of the prepuce, do you think it's possible?
Simple Answer is Yes
Nov 14, 2023
Goal of labiaplasty is to reduce excess skin and reshape in a way that maintains function and improves hygiene and appearance. In your case the area that you have circled can be removed joining those 2 skin edges together while preserving the more sensitive area. Care should be taken not to rotate the sensitive area outward where would be subject to stimulation from clothing in everyday activities. Labiaplasty can be performed under local anesthetic with or without sedation and success rate...
Is a facelift appropriate for a young 24 year old patient if they lost an extreme amount of weight (
Volume Loss
Nov 14, 2023
Despite the way loss you really have very little excess skin. You have experienced volume loss for the most part. The best way to correct I'm losses to replace volume loss is by using fillers such as wrestling or your own fat and if necessary to remove a small amount of skin such as with a mini facelift.
Penuma after dissolved penis filler?
Strict Criteria for Penuma
Nov 14, 2023
At this time most physicians including Dr. Elist, the inventor of Penuma, recommend not to implant the Penuma (now Himplant) device if you've had previous fillers injected in the area
How to correct my face? I feel like 1 side of my face is definitely much different than the other (P
Yes You are asymetric
Nov 14, 2023
Asymmetry is completely normal however in your case the brow is significantly different in height from the left to the right. This can be corrected with a right side only brow lift to even the eyebrow level to the other side.It would be important to know from a medical history standpoint if you had experienced any facial weakness or had a history of Bell's palsy.
Age 42, strange mound of skin/fat, not interested in fillers as a fix
Prominent Buccal Fat Pad
Nov 14, 2023
The bump that you are concerned about is the buccal fat pad which is in your case more prominent. This is easily taking care of through an incision inside the mouth which can be done under local anesthesia with some light sedation. No need for a facelift yet. I would recommend that you have some fillers or fat transfer in the cheeks and the nasolabial folds to give you a little bit more volume otherwise your looking good!
Can I get these cartilage grafts removed?
Pictures Would be Helpful But
Oct 18, 2023
The short answer is yes. Revision surgery is typically performed once all healing is come to completion. In rhinoplasty surgery that usually takes a full year. Cartilage graphs tend to reabsorb in part and you may see some reduction of projection overtime. Surgery would involve removing the graft and if there is enough nasal bone present not replace it or possibly modify the graft by crushing it and shaping it and putting it back in place where it was. This is a determination that can only...
Is it possible to be responsive to Topical, but not Oral Minoxidil?
Usually it is the Opposite
Oct 18, 2023
Oral minoxidil is typically more effective than topical whoever there are always exceptions to the rule. You should resume the topical minoxidil and maintain the oral minoxidil and increase the dose to 5 milligrams a day. Once your hair density and thickness has recovered reduce the frequency applied topically until you're completely weaned off. If you find you have thinning hair after that then resume topical treatments only.

Depends on Liver Function
Oct 18, 2023
Cosmetic surgery is best performed on patients with no risk factors or minimal ones at best. Fatty liver is a common condition that can occur on its own normally or is a sign of disease. If your liver function is affected you may have increased risk of bleeding and bruising. If you were my patient I would have you seen by liver specialist, a hepatologist, to check out your liver and ensure that this is not a factor. Would you have surgery or not you should have your liver condition evaluated...
Will I need a hairline repair? What can I do?
Patience Is a Virtue
Oct 18, 2023
Based on the appearance of the grafts at the time of placement it looks like the density of the grafts are good. Six months is pretty typical for a preliminary result that you really need to wait in the entire year. In the meantime having PRP injections would be helpful it's stimulating the transplanted follicles to grow. Make sure that you continue using minoxidil topical solution or even better low dose orally. After one year's time, if you do not see improvement then you may need to have...

Minor Revision might be Required
Oct 18, 2023
The only picture you've included is one that shows from below, the so-called worms eye view. Would you mind posting pictures showing your face frontal view and from the side?
Based on this one view you do have some asymmetry. My question is whether it is visible from different angles. If the nose looks good from the front and the sides then I would not do anything unless it really bothered you. If however the tip of the nose is crooked from the front then a minor tip correction can be...
Bad rhinoplasty result and narrow nasal bones, is there a way to give it a more harmonious shape? (P
Camouflage is the easiest approach
Oct 18, 2023
Radiesse applied right to the nasal bones will camouflage this deformity. As Radiesse is a bone substitute it might actually transform into new bone and no additional correction would be required in the future. This is as long as good technique is used.
Can a helix piercing migration be fixed?
Depigmentation
Oct 18, 2023
If the piercing recently pulled through then the skin should gradually repigment over several weeks to months. If this is a long standing scar then it can be excised under local anesthesia and the skin edges brought together very gently with stitches and there should be a minimally perceptible scar left.

Nerve Regeneration After Surgery
Oct 18, 2023
Healing following any kind of surgery takes a minimum of one year and in terms of sensation can take up to two years.

Sensory nerves however take up to two years to completely regenerate and even then it may be incomplete. If your symptoms are tingling, minor electric shocks, or sensitivity while clothes touching the skin you are experiencing what is called paresthesias. This is a sign that the nerves are waking up and that you should have at least partial return of sensation.

Botox etc has completely stopped working, is it possible it will ever work again?
Antibodies My Dear
Oct 18, 2023
It sounds like you may have had too much of the neuromodulation her at one time. Once you reaches certain threshold, with Botox it is 300 units, your body will make antibodies and will neutralize the botulinum protein so it will not work.

The active molecule of every branch of neural modulator is a small protein called the light chain. The size of this protein is small and goes below the detection level of the immune system. Once the amount of protein injected reaches a certain...

Is Restylane Defyne safe to inject in the lips?
Defyne in lips
Jun 8, 2022
Restylane Defyne can be injected in the lips however it will not offer a lot of volume. Defyne is good for more definition but if you want more volume you can try other fillers such as regular Restylane, or Kysse, etc.
