This 66-year-old woman opted for bilateral mastectomy for her left breast cancer. She underwent immediate reconstruction via tissue expanders. She then had radiation therapy to the left chest wall. Several months after completion of her radiation therapy, her second stage was performed, which consisted of exchange of her tissue expanders for silicone gel implants, followed by nipple reconstruction and areolar tattooing. After photos at two years show excellent size, shape, and symmetry of her reconstructed breasts along with very realistic nipple-areolar complex reconstruction.
