Dr. Douglas Hendricks, MD, Newport Beach, California (92660) Male Reduction Surgery
This male patient in his mid-40's requested correction of his enlarged chest tissue which was unresponsive to diet and exercise. He was often embarrassed to wear any tight fitting clothing such as tee shirts and could never take off his shirt at the beach without feeling very uncomfortable and self-conscious. Dr Hendricks was able to reduce the volume of abnormal tissue significantly with a combination of the Smartlipo Laser which helped to emulsify the fat, and with the Power Assisted liposuction device. These two instruments working in tandem worked successfully to remove some of the the troublesome tissue, but in this case it was necessary to surgically remove some of the remaining abnormal breast tissue through a small 1.5 inch incision.
