50 year old female with significant skin redundancy of the neck with age. Her face was aging very nicely, and she did not require a facelift. She was an excellent candidate for localized liposuction and a necklift under local anesthesia. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, IV sedation or general anesthesia. She recovered within a few days and was out to dinner with her husband by day 3.
