We love our patient's early results of an in office facelift under local anesthesia. We have our patient's take a few medications by mouth to get comfortable enough to inject the local anesthesia and then we can work without causing our patients pain. Photos are intentionally shown at 3 weeks post op to illustrate the rapid recovery involved with the technique. She underwent a deep plane (sub SMAS) facelift with lateral and anterior necklift (open platysmaplasty). We added fat grafting to the chin, piriform, nasolabial folds, temples, and inferior orbit. Renuvion (J-plasma) was used on the neck and lower face for additional tightening. In the photos you can faintly see her pre auricular scars blending in without disturbing the hairline. She is still a little swollen and with more time and the effect of renuvion we expect her neck results will continue to improve. We also used Renuvion to resurface the upper lip which you can faintly see some of the pink associated with healing.
We will post longer term photos as they become available.
