When liposuction is performed fat cells are permanently removed from your body. So the areas treated should not only “look thinner” they should have less fat cells and less chance to increase or decrease in size based on your weight fluctuations throughout life. Now the areas not treated would respond to weight fluctuations perhaps with a little more noticeable change given relatively there are more fat cells able to enlarge or decrease their size…

Yes the combination of these procedures are commonly linked together and marketed as a mommy makeover. I personally dislike the term as it not specific as it can be a combination of many different procedures. For example it could be just an augmentation, or a lift and tummy tuck, lift and lipo, etc.
It also is a little insulting in my opinion, The female form is beautiful in all its ways. Now if a mom wants to change something all power to her but I…

This is certainly a personal choice on your part as to what your goals are with augmentation. A well trained surgeon will likely recommend implants with a diameter that would match your chest dimensions. This could be measured directly as well as estimated using 3D photography system such as Vectra.
In my practice we start by matching the implant diameter to the patients base width minus soft tissue thickness (this is a measurement of the width…

Congratulations on being in fantastic shape. Very selective liposuction with fat transfer to the hips might be possible (hidef lipo). This is hard to know without an in person exam. I’d start with some in person exams with board certified plastic surgeons. Many would be free or with a low fee.
You could start with video consult first as well.
Some of the non surgical options might be possible to slim the waist and injectables for the hip d…

It does not appear you have significant ptosis and therefore an augmentation with release of the lower pole of the breast with parenchyma scoring and perhaps slight lowering of the fold should allow proper positioning of an implant without mastopexy. Your areola do not appear too large either. There would be some extra work and time than a more routine augmentation but I wouldn’t go so far as to consider it on the level of a mastopexy. These m…

Congratulations on taking the step of getting a consultation. It’s nice to hear your surgeon has reservations about going to large as the long term issues that can occur with large implants are well known.
The sizes seem reasonable for a petite woman such as yourself.
Without some measurements such as base width, pinch thickness, nipple to Inframammary fold I can’t offer more commentary.
A couple of consults with other board certified pla…

I typically tell my patients they will be back working in about a week to two weeks at the most. This can depend on whether a below or above muscle augmentation is performed and how much arm activities are really required.
Your employer may ask for details which you really should not have to tell them details given HIPPA privacy laws. They likely will assume it’s elective if your “note” comes from a plastic surgeon. I doubt it will be an issue unless there…

Thank you for your question.
In my experience that is not an indicator that your would have any more pain than another woman. Pain is definitely different for different folks. Most surgeons now use early recovery after surgery protocols that include multi modality pain control such as NSAIDS, narcotics, neurontin, tylenol, and muscle relaxers. Also many are using field blocks during surgery to minimize the pain involved.
What I have seen is that any under…

I would agree you have features consistent with tuberous breasts. Whether it is mild or severe can be thought of on how you feel about your breasts and how difficult it would be for your surgeon to achieve a certain outcome. Your surgeon would need to discuss the goals with you and reasonable expectations.
Typically for tuberous breasts our goal is to get close to being symmetric while achieve the enlargement the patient desires.
This is…

I’d say take some time to see a few surgeons in your area. It would be very difficult to advise you on any surgery without going through your specific goals about how you would like your breast to look. Also critical is having an exam specifically looking at tissue quality, and chest/breast dimensions.
Options could include
No surgery
Reduction of breast while lifting breast tissue not the areolar position (tightening breast parenchyma) +/-…

I would trust your surgeon. It is very normal to get anxious and start second guessing the plan coming up to surgery.
Standard treatment for tuberous breast is an areolar incision with lower pole scoring and areolar reduction. Yes reducing the areola while enlarging the breast can create tension. Whether the areola will stretch depends on the surgical technique, implant size, and presence or absence of areolar controlling sutures such as a round…

I think you are definitely on the right path. I personally like to carry the liposuction to the back during lipoabdominoplasty to really get a transformation of the entire torso. This is commonly described as lipo 360. This enhances the figure and makes it easier to achieve an hour glass figure. It takes a bit more time given you need several position changes during surgery but in my opinion is worth it to get even better results.

I would recommend seeing a board certified plastic surgeon that can perform in an person examination to get specific recommendations. Perhaps continued non invasive body contouring can be used to achieve your goals. This however is going to be a little less predictable and honestly will likely be expensive for the results achievable.
Liposuction can likely improve the areas as it can be applied more precisely and differently on each side as well as…
