This young woman didn't like the excessive projection and length of her chin especially on profile view. She wanted her chin reduced. Dr. Rad performed "wedge osteotomy," removal of a triangular wedge of bone from the chin, through a hidden incision on the inner lip. Dr. Rad secured the reduce chin bone to the jaw bone using small titanium plates and screws.
